Erix93, is a modeler from kuala Lumpur, Malaysia has been involved in the hobby for more than 10 years. He is also the most senior member of E-BaseNet It all began for him while he was still in high school, when there were no MG kits yet. He started off with his first kit, a 1/144 Re-GZ. Back then it was so difficult to find a decent hobby shop selling quality plastic model kits.
Not to mention finding modeling tools and equipment was also impossible as there were no shops like this. As the years went by erix93 started joining Gundam modeling competitions and won his first competition in 1998. He managed to get a consolation that year.
After a few more competitions he met Whitebase at one of the Gundam showdowns in the year 2003 . They became good friends and have been exchanging ideas regarding Gundam modeling ever since. They are also always in healthy competition between each other because that is one way to ensure they improve every year!
Erix93 has been finishing in the top 3 positions in every competition since then and even managed to secure first place in the Bandai Action Kits Asia Cup in 2005 held in Hong Kong.
As of today erix93 has completed countless models from all different genres not only Gundam and is thinking of slowing down and retiring from competitive modeling but who knows, he might surprise us all with another winning entry this year!

Whitebase from the state of Selangor Malaysia is the perfectionist member
of the Trio E-BaseNet. Because of this nature he seems to take a little longer than g-net to complete his models. With a background in engineering whitebase took to the hobby of modeling with much ease and a tremendous amount of creativity.

Years ago he began this hobby with his very first model, 1/144 Zaku Cannon. After that there was no turning back! Since then he has indulged himself into the modeling world with an impressive amount of Hobby Japan and Dengeki Magazines to prove it. Though taking up the hobby since his school days, it was only lately with the availability of competitions has he had the opportunity to meet up with a stranger called erix93….

The rest is history, plus many many many late nights of teh tarik and talking about plastic. Having won a few competitions whitebase is most notably known in Malaysia as “the one who has yet to complete a 1/100 MG model” as he prefers to work in his favorite 1/144 scale. Whitebase is also known to use chloroform when he builds….. for unknown reasons.

G-net, being the ‘Net’ in E-BaseNet comes from Petaling Jaya, Selangor. Among the other 2 experienced modelers g-net is the newest member only joining the modeling community in 2002. His first model was an FG Zaku II which he bought in Parkson supermarket years before that. Still a student at the time it was hard to find money to buy the more expensive models. In 2002 he bought his first MG model which was the RX-78 GP01.
In 2004 he joined his first modeling competition and managed to place 2nd Runner Up. After that G-net has tried to join as many competitions as possible but missed a few (because he is the second slowest builder in E-BaseNet) Among those which he did manage to compete in was the BAK Universal Cup (BAKUC) of 2006. That year he represented Malaysia to Hong Kong for the Finals which unfortunately he did not win anything.
G-net met up with Whitebase and Erix93 in 2004 and has been friends sharing the interest in modeling ever since. G-net’s favorite Gundam model is the PG RX-178 Titans Mk II and his favorite modeling tool is Tamiya Xtra Thin Cement.
