Just a small update over pass few weeks....

Here's the ankle part of the Exia, first time use a simple mod on the inner frame to reduce the movable area just to have right proportion.

So here's the result.

Okay, now comes to the backpack..
the backpack really is a big issue to me, spend a lot time of brainstorm to get some ideal.
The main problem was the original Exia's rear body was designed in a rounded shape, is very difficult for a guy who always build a U.C. kits.

Anyway.... here's what I've done...

I found this from my work dash, but forgot where it came from....

Than...

Since it was made by some kind of PVC material.. I decided to cover it with a layer of pla-plate so that I can easily do some sanding work & some deatiling on it.

& Test fit...

Now comes to the inner engine site...
I found a part from my dash which suit the best on the back.

And than... suddenly my hand can't stop....

Try to do some surgery with some spare parts from my old kit parts & M.S.G. parts...

And finally... become like this....

Heres some small update for this week....

Yes, I'm usig the MG Freedom shoulder as the guide for me to makes my job easier...

Not sure what else need to do with it by this time, maybe will just leave it like this.

Now comes to the Exia's feet...
Since after I had cut off the Freedom shoulder, give me an ideal to recycle the balance un use part of it... And this what I had done....

After sanding naightmare + surfacer.....

At last... comes to the weapon... the small laser rifle...
I took the Kotobukiya Armored Core weapon set, & mixed it with some of my Gundam's spare parts & turn it become like this...
