I then added some detailing on the outer surface using more kotobukiya parts.

A little bit more 'EPPT' and we get this.

The S Gundam originally has a very straight and blocky waist. I modified this part by cutting away the bottom section and replacing it with some spare parts from my other kits.

The gaps were then puttied and cleaned up.

Due to time constraints, I decided to cut down on the additional surface detailing i normally do, and instead focused on the overall pose and presentation. As such the waist was modified and a double sided ball joint was added to allow a more natural pose.

With the mods on the waist, the model can now do this.
